Reality really sucks, doesn't it....?

I was thinking this morning, with the Katrina nostalgia clips playing on various TV news channels, especially MSNBC, that we have a window into the future showing us the level of care that will be provided by the federal government after someone detonates a nuke, or worse, inside the USA.

Scary isn’t it? Not to mention the thought of another terrorist attack... As a Floridian I can tell you that the local newscasters are so completely hysterical that they are practically inciting riots over the impending TROPICAL STORM Ernesto. This is what we are dealing with in this country. I've always said that our downfall will not come from outside but from within. We have a long way to go to get "right" and though I don't want to sound like the ultimate pessimist I don’t think we’re going to get there in my lifetime or my children’s.
